Let me repeat that: Things grow here.
In the hard places.
In the empty spaces.
You may not see anything but dirt and gravel. Maybe that’s all you’ve seen for a couple seasons now. It’s hard to keep hoping in something that seems to be impossible.
The job. The two lines. The proposal. The financial freedom. The rekindled friendship. The miracle recovery.
But life is stirring deep in the underground, hidden places.
“Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19 CSB
Underneath the barren terrain your feet have found themselves is the very spot God has chosen-perfect for new growth.
For your growth. For your family’s growth. For kingdom growth.
God has a plan and a purpose that is perfectly designed for your good and His glory. It may not make all the pain go away, it may never fully make sense or you may not see the full blooms in this lifetime.
Maybe the timing is wrong and the wait seems endless leaving you feeling forgotten. But this we know, God’s timing is always good and always perfect.
You have not been forgotten.
Look closely, keep praying, keep hoping.
The tiny sprout of abundant life God has in store for you is pushing through the darkness.
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:”
Ecclesiastes 3:1 ESV
