“Jesus said, “Leave the little children alone, and don’t try to keep them from coming to me, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.””
Matthew 19:14 CSB

Children see the beauty in the world. Everything is new, exciting and wonderful.
An ant? Coolest bug ever. 🐜
A weed? Bouquet for mommy!🌾
Children live wild and free and without a care because they don’t have to worry about a thing. They trust that they are being taken care of.
Children love fiercely and show their affection in hugs and songs and kisses. They care deeply and love to be with you.
Children, to me, are a glimpse into how it was all supposed to be. Worry-free, enjoying time with our Father, experiencing beauty everywhere in even the tiniest of weeds. Loving and living life full of joy and wonder.
The world is constantly trying to convince us to grow up, that “adulting” means you’re making it and that you should be hustling your way to the top.
That life just doesn’t sound fun to me.
So today, I’m going to play pretend and snuggle on the couch and praise God for reminding me that the small things may just be the best things. 💕
